How can we save our corals and sponges?

Stop trawling the ocean floor with fishing nets.

When nets drag along the ocean floor our corals and sponges get broken off and end up in the net too. Then the fishers just throw them back in the ocean to die.

Fishers should use mid -ocean trawling instead. That's when the net doesn't drag along the ocean floor.

If your diving in the shallow waters don't rip the corals and sponges off. If the corals and sponges are in the way where you want to go just swim back to shore!
